Brazilian Customer Successfully Orders Batch of Carbide Tobacco Cutting Blades - Jetvision Precision Tools Gains International Recognition
YG12 Carbide Tobacco Cutting Blade: A Perfect Balance of Precision and Durability
Recently, a renowned Brazilian metal processing equipment manufacturer successfully placed an order with Jetvision for a batch of high performance tungsten carbide tobacco cutting blades. These blades will be integrated into their next generation automated cutting production lines. This collaboration signifies that Jetvision's competitive strength in the international precision tooling market has once again earned high recognition from overseas clients.
The carbide tobacco cutting blade disc cutters blade delivered this time are made of YG12 material. The superior performance of YG12 material speaks for itself: hardness HRA91+, bending strength 2100MPa, less prone to chipping when cutting tobacco shreds, and a lifespan more than 5 times that of ordinary carbon steel blades! Manufactured through high vacuum sintering and precision CNC grinding processes, it offers the following advantages:
Hardness exceeding HRA 92, delivering sharp cutting edges with exceptional wear resistance
Dimensional accuracy controlled within±0.005mm
High surface finish on cutting edges for minimal cutting resistance
Maintains stable tool life during high-speed machining, reducing replacement frequency
From raw material to finished product, each blade undergoes precision grinding: the surface has a uniform and delicate brushed texture, and the center hole tolerance is controlled within±0.02mm, ensuring stable operation of high speed cutting equipment.
The customer utilizes this batch of cutting tools for high speed slitting of stainless steel sheets, copper strips, aluminum materials, and composite materials, demanding exceptional wear resistance and stability.
Based on the customer's drawings, Jetvision comprehensively customized the tools' outer diameter, bore, thickness, cutting edge angle, and coating (TiN / TiAlN / DLC). This ensures the tools' cutting efficiency and durability perfectly align with the customer's equipment requirements.
We just completed a small batch packaging of 10 pieces, with double protection of foam boxes and vacuum bags to ensure the blades reach customers with "factory-grade" sharpness.
Customer feedback has been positive, with plans to expand procurement in the future.
After trialing the tungsten carbide circular blade, the customer reported:
“Cutting life has improved by over 25% compared to our previous supplier's tools, delivering cleaner cuts at faster speeds.”
Both parties are currently discussing follow up quarterly orders.
